Family cruise!

We had the pleasure of a visit from some of our family from Israel. Haim's sister has always dreamed of a trip to New York City...she finally realized that dream with her husband and his brother and wife. After a week in NY, they came to Miami to visit us!
As we were a week away from moving into our new house, plans had been made well ahead of time to go on a family cruise. My brother and grandma joined us as well.
We all had a wonderful time! I'm not a huge fan of cruising...I tend to prefer to spend my travel dollars in other ways...reaching out of the way places, or getting off the beaten path...none the less, I do see the appeal for ease, and it is a great way to travel with a large, multi-age group...(we ranged from 2 to 92).
Haim was really able to wind down and relax, having no other options (no accessible home improvement, no cell phones, no internet)...Yuda and Moti enjoyed some profitable on and off ship gambling, and Maya really had a change to bond with Grandma in a way she hadn't previously.
All in all it was a really special time for us to all share, even in the midst of a renovation and impending move....we move on Tuesday!
